Who is Justin Shaw?

Justin Shaw is a comedian, storyteller, and theatre-maker based in Hamilton, Ontario, originally from Prince Edward Island (and if you're also from Prince Edward Island, his dad probably knows your dad.)

Featured on CBC Laugh Out Loud, Comedy in 5, JFL42, and SiriusXM Comedy Club. Opened for Harland Williams, Fortune Feimster, and Jon Dore. Album "MOSTLY CLEAN" available now on Comedy Records. On official Yuk Yuks roster.

Artistic Director of Storytelling Toronto. Featured on Replay Storytelling Festival and Toronto International Storytelling Festival.

Toured solo storytelling shows across Canada.

Playwright and Actor. 2026 ALERT Company in Residence (Bateson & Shaw, Hamilton Fringe.) Writer of 3 Feast Dinner Theatres. Graduate of National Theatre School of Canada.

Justin Shaw has two comedy albums available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Sirius XM. His latest release MOSTLY CLEAN was released by Comedy Records, and showcases his down home yet outrageous sense of humour as he shares stories of an awkward Islander navigating the mainland.

From plays, to dinner theatres, to absurd fringe projects, Justin Shaw is an active theatre-maker with a portfolio of fun and strange projects. He and Devin Bateson form the comedy duo BATESON & SHAW and are the 2026 Hamilton Fringe Company in Residence and winners of the Best In Venue Award (Theatre Aquarius.)
